What is Amanaska Yoga?
Amanaska Yoga is centred on self-Knowing as the way to end sorrow. It is based on inner enquiry
and understanding of the self.
Amanaska Yoga, as edified by Dr. Sankara Bhagavadpada, offers a profound spiritual journey aimed
at uncovering one&s true self through self-Knowing and inner exploration. Rooted in the timeless
wisdom of J. Krishnamurti, Amanaska Yoga transcends traditional practices by emphasizing direct
understanding and realization of the human self, leading to awakening, freedom, and profound inner
clarity.
Why Amanaska?
The Fastest Path to Divine Unity
Amanaska Yoga is the swiftest route through the realms of your consciousness to the divine abode of Awareness, where all sense of separateness dissolves. This dissolution is the ultimate liberation from suffering, uniting you with the Paramatma (Supreme Soul).
Unique Process of Inner Awakening
Experience a profound inner awakening as the subtle workings of your mind are illuminated. Discover hidden truths about your Atman (soul) that have remained veiled, revealing your innermost spiritual essence.
Liberation from Mental Suffering and Sorrow
Transcend the bonds of mental suffering and sorrow. The complete release from these binds is akin to liberation from the forces of samsara (the cycle of rebirth). This newfound freedom is the ultimate ananda (bliss).
Path to Self-Realization
Embark on a journey of self-discovery through vigilant observation and inquiry into your thoughts, words, and actions. This path of vichara (self-inquiry) leads you to uncover your true self and realize your infinite potential, aligning with the eternal truth of your existence.

Sri J. Krishnamurti
Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895-1986) was an Indian philosopher and speaker who rejected all forms of spiritual and psychological authority. He emphasized the importance of self-knowledge and direct observation to transform human consciousness. Over his 65-year career, he published 75 books and delivered numerous talks globally. Krishnamurti’s teachings, free from allegiance to any tradition, aimed to help individuals free themselves from conditioned thinking. His work attracted both traditional and non-traditional thinkers, bridging science and religion. Time magazine recognized him as one of the five saints of the 20th century.
Jiddu Krishnamurti engaged in dialogues with eminent scientists, religious leaders, and literary figures. He founded educational institutions in Britain, India, the United States, and Spain, focusing on holistic education. His schools aimed at developing the total human being beyond mere academic excellence. Krishnamurti established study centers to promote his teachings without interpreting or deifying them. He emphasized that true learning involves exploring the human condition deeply and that no belief or authority should be imposed. He advocated for meeting on a common ground to understand human existence profoundly.
